Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Flickz.net processes, why, and what rights you have. We keep it as small as we can.

When you visit the website
Our hosting provider stores technical data such as your IP address, the time of the visit, the page you opened and your browser type in server logs. This is needed to deliver the site and to keep it secure.
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser connects to Google servers and Google receives your IP address.
Signing in with Steam
You sign in through Steam. Steam tells us your Steam ID, your public profile name and your avatar. We never see your Steam password. Valve's own privacy policy applies to what happens on Steam.
On our game servers
When you play on our servers, they process your Steam ID, your player name, your IP address and what happens in the match, for example kills, rounds and chat messages. We use this to run the matches, to show leaderboards and to enforce the server rules.
Reports and ban appeals
When you send a report, a problem or a ban appeal, we store what you entered: the Steam profile link, your description, links you add and the contact details you leave. Only admins can see them.
Premium and payments
Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive the result of the payment, the amount and an order number, but not your full card details. We keep billing records for as long as the law requires.
Data stored in your browser
The site saves a few things in your browser so that it works: your language, your loadouts, your lobby, your sign-in session and similar settings. These are only used for the site's own features, not for advertising or tracking. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
Statistics
If we switch on visitor statistics, we use a privacy-friendly tool that sets no cookies and does not build profiles of you. Browsers that send Do Not Track are never counted.
Legal basis
We process data to provide the service you asked for (for example sign-in, Premium and lobbies), because we have a legitimate interest in running a safe and fair community (for example logs, reports and bans), and where the law requires it, with your consent.
Who we share data with
Only with the providers we need to run Flickz.net: our hosting provider, our payment provider and Valve through Steam sign-in. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as we need it for the purpose above, or as long as the law requires. Server logs are deleted regularly.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we have about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, to limit how we use it, or to send it to you. You can object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. Write to snappyx1@outlook.com.
Changes
We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the bottom shows the latest version.
